About the Workshop

These in-person workshops in the Northern Rivers, NSW support women to reconnect with their inner strength and build grounded self-confidence. You’ll learn practical skills for staying safe, focusing on awareness, boundary-setting, voice and intuition.

While simple physical self-defence techniques may be introduced, the workshop is not martial arts or combat training. The emphasis is on prevention, choice and feeling empowered in everyday life.

All sessions are held in a safe, supportive and trauma-informed environment.


You Will Learn To:
  • Strengthen assertiveness and practice setting clear, respectful boundaries
  • Tune into intuition and recognise early warning signs
  • Increase awareness of your surroundings in a calm, grounded way
  • Explore options for responding to unsafe situations, including verbal, behavioural and awareness-based strategies. Prevent, resist, and exit unsafe situations
  • Learn basic physical self-defence responses that prioritise simplicity, choice, and safety
  • Use grounding and mindfulness tools to support regulation and presence. Stay grounded, calm and present under pressure

Participation is always by choice. Observation is welcome.

Through discussion, movement and guided exploration, you’ll:

  • Explore the connection between inner power, intuition and physical presence
  • Practice tools that support confidence without forcing discomfort
  • Learn how early awareness and boundaries reduce risk
  • Leave with options you can adapt to your own needs and capacity that are practical, repeatable and realistic.
